Participants will explore how to embed participation in organisational practices and projects, while discovering the opportunities offered by Erasmus+ Youth, especially Key Action 154 \u2013 Youth Participation Activities. The course focuses on equipping participants with tools, knowledge and inspiration to foster civic engagement and active involvement of young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Themes<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>Youth participation and democracy: strengthening active citizenship and engagement among young people<br>Erasmus+ opportunities: understanding and applying KA154 for youth participation projects<br>Quality participation: exploring approaches, standards and impact in different contexts<br>Tools and methods: practical resources to support youth-led initiatives<br>Networking and partnerships: building international cooperation and sharing practices<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Participant profile<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>Interested applicants should meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Representatives of youth organisations or informal groups of young people<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Youth leaders or youth workers with experience in youth participation or civic engagement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interested in developing projects within Erasmus+ KA154 (no prior experience required)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Motivated to improve youth participation practices at local, national or international level<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to communicate effectively in English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 18 years old<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Programme highlights<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>The programme will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Thematic sessions on youth participation and European values supporting democracy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshops exploring Erasmus+ KA154 and project development opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exchanges of good practices and peer learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tools and methods for strengthening youth participation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunities to build partnerships and future collaborations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A mandatory online meeting will take place before the residential training to allow participants to connect and prepare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Background and organisers<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>The training course is part of the New Power in Youth Strategic Partnership (NPiY SNAC), implemented by several Erasmus+ National Agencies and SALTO Resource Centres. This fourth edition is hosted by the SALTO South East Europe Resource Centre, in cooperation with Haridus- ja Noorteamet (Estonia), JUGEND f\u00fcr Europa (Germany), and the local contact point Beyond Barriers Association (Albania).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Application process<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>Submit the application form with information about your background, motivation, organisational context and expectations.
